About Us
The Zion Art Society is a non-profit organization working to nurture our arts community by providing opportunities to artists, collectors, and institutions to raise awareness of original fine art and promote the role of the arts in our communities.
THE NEED
Our community needs more institutions that showcase, promote, and educate on the role of the arts in our lives and the importance of creativity, criticism, and inspiration in the work we are anxiously engaged in every day.
We are dedicated to bridging the gap between artists and those who love art. The Zion Art Society is a forum where artists can showcase their works — online and in person.
Who We Are
ERIC BIGGART
Eric is a seasoned veteran of arts, nonprofit, and government sectors, serving as Gallery Director of the largest private art collection in the Mountain West, Senior Advisor to the Mayor of the largest county in Utah, and Operations Manager for the Change Collective, a start-up leadership and mentoring organization based in Washington DC.
MICAH CHRISTENSEN, PHD
Micah received his PhD from University College London and MFA from Sotheby’s Institute (London). He maintains strong ties with artists and collectors through regular public lectures, judging art contests, and as a board member of the Springville Museum of Art.
BOAD SWANSON
By donating his time to the Zion Art Society, Boad brings passion for the arts and years of experience as an executive in the private sector where he developed and managed large teams of skilled workers in the healthcare industry.
